First off, know that you are not alone! That's seems like it happens to me all the time too. Anyway, here's what I'd sometimes (and quite often do) do : Put your hair in a ponytail in the middle of the back of your head and tie it off with an elastic. Then twist it and curl it into a bun (like a ballerina's). To finish it all off, tie a pretty ribbon around it and either tie it in a bow or tie it under the bun and not in a bow, just in a knot. I do that and it works well. Hope this helps! :)

Braids are really cute--make them look loose. Same with pony tails and floppy buns--they never fail.
