New Color?

Right now my hair is brown, a medium brown, and it has a bit of auburn in it that is faded.

I'm getting it recolored and cut soon and I'm not sure what color to go with. It wont be all over, just underneath. Any ideas?

Also, I'm not sure of how i want it cut, my hair is alittle past my shoulders, thick, and is somewhat layered. I want a shorter style. Anyone have any good ideas for short hair cuts?

With your medium brown, i'd maybe go for a caramel color or maybe even a darker deeper brown.

Why change colors? I personally think brown is the sexiest color out there for hair (don't see why everyone is caught up on blonde....) I think you should leave the color and let it grow down past your shoulders a little bit...sexy

A blond underneath might look cool but don't make it look skanky. In general with brown hair colors underneath don't look all that great.

As for a short hair cut, a pixie cut would be cute but you know Rihanna's hairstyle? I love it and she pulls it off so well even though it's short. Do a Rihanna bob or something.

I just got mine cut. I got layers and side bangs. I think you shout dye it a more fiery red, and then get layers. That's a really cute look to me. I'd cut it an inch or an inch and a half above your shoulders. Help much?

The coolest thing to do is got to a shop that has wigs. In all styles and hair colors. Try them on and see what style you would like and make sure you bring at least a guy friend and a girl fried that way you have some input on what looks good on you.

well a cute look for short hair is when they take it up in the back and bring it lower and lower into like points on each side. your hair lenth would be about to your chin maybe an inch or two longer...it is very well know and well liked. i use to have it but that was a while ago, now i have longer hair. and how you should color it, is take medium or light on top then dark brown on bottom. it will lokk so HOT!

I think you should just get blonde highlights. Not really stand out ones just ones that highlight your brown hair. Also, maye you should get like a "rihanna cut" or just short to the shoulders with layers all over. Good Luck!
